What is WholesalePet?
WholesalePet is a business-to-business marketplace for the pet industry. This is a free service for qualified pet product retailers, who must register to gain access to the site. Retailers benefit by being able to shop and purchase multiple vendor lines from one convenient location. We have been a leader in the industry for 25 years and currently have thousands of customers.
Who Can Become a Vendor on WholesalePet?
WholesalePet is looking for wholesale vendors of high-quality pet products who sell and ship direct to independent pet stores. General guidelines are that vendors must be engaged full time in the business of wholesaling pet products and have established national distribution. We work with manufacturers and distributors who have product selection and pricing that will appeal to our base of specialty retailers. WholesalePet is compensated solely on a commission basis and there are no application fees, listing fees, or monthly/annual fees once approved.
How do Vendors Receive Orders and Charge Customers?
Vendors are sent order notifications by email, and log-in to a secure portal to retrieve purchase orders. Orders contain the retailer’s shipping and order information; these can be viewed online, printed, downloaded as a CSV file, or we can have them flow directly into your ERP system via our API (or Shopify integration if you’re using Shopify). Vendors confirm the order once it’s received and process payment directly on our site when ready to ship.
