Treatibles' Parent Company Receives NASC Quality Seal -
Auntie D’s Apothecary, sister brand of Treatibles, the pioneer in developing hemp products for pets, is proud to announce that its hemp line has earned the Quality Seal from the National Animal Supplement Council (NASC).
The NASC, recognized by consumers and pet industry professionals as the authority on compliance and quality, is an industry group dedicated to protecting and enhancing the health of companion animals and horses throughout the United States. As part of its ongoing effort to improve and standardize the animal supplement industry, the NASC initiated its Quality Seal Program. The seal is a way for consumers to know when they buy a product, they buy from a reputable manufacturer that has successfully completed a facility audit. Different from the NASC logo, the seal is a privilege for members to use on their products and signifies that the company has been audited for the implementation of specific standards.
“We understand the importance of compliance, especially in the hemp products for pets space,”
said Julianna Carella, CEO and Founder of Auntie D’s Apothecary. “The Quality Seal from NASC ensures our customers that our products are adhering to the stringent protocols set forth by the NASC with guidance from the FDA and FDA-CVM (Center for Veterinary Medicine).”
About Auntie D’s Apothecary
Auntie D’s Apothecary has deep roots. In 2008 Auntie Dolores (Auntie D) was founded in San Francisco and
became one of the first five medical cannabis companies in California. Auntie D established an apothecary and began creating a variety of cannabis products for people. Soon customers began asking Auntie D, “Can I give these products to my pet?” Research showed that THC can be harmful to pets, so the seed was planted to find a safe alternative. In 2011, Auntie D’s began cultivating CBD-rich hemp in Mendocino California and created the apothecary’s first line of CBD products for people. Auntie D’s Apothecary began product development for pets and in 2013, introduced Treatibles.
Established in 2013, Treatibles blazed a trail as the pioneer in developing full spectrum hemp derived CBD oil products for pets, essentially creating a whole new category in the pet space.
