Yak chews, are made using natural yak and/or cow’s milk. The milk is first curdled into cheese, set into molds and then hardened by drying in moisture and temperature controlled environment. The whole process takes place with minimal human contact to eliminate chances of contamination. The plant is fully equipped to pasteurize the milk and maintain a sterile environment.

Milk is received from the local farmers. It is pasteurized and skimmed. skimmed milk is curdled by adding lime juice. Cheese curds thus obtained is pressed into molds. Hard pressed cheese is dried and aged in a temperature and humidity controlled environment. The finished product is packaged and shipped for the pets to enjoy a healthy treat.
